Going To My Sister's House
Henare and I went to our sister's house so we could help her look after my niece Patience and the rest of the kids. My big brother went in the car and he took us to a big field for us to play. We played for 3 hours but we got tired so we went back home for a shower, had dinner and watched T.V.
When we woke up my stomach was empty and I was hungry so me and my cousins and brothers came for breakfast. We had Nutri -Gran and it was really scrumptious. My dad had come and we went back home. It was so fun playing at our sister's house.

Touch Rugby Training
Touch Rugby
On Thursday the 5th of November we had touch rugby. The coach who taught us was Trevor. He has been teaching kids at schools for many years. He taught us how to play touch and the basic skills of Touch Rugby. We were split into 4 groups and the activities began.
We played two games. The first game was great fun and the second game was alright but I preferred the first game. After all the energy we put into touch we were all tired, we said “bye” to Trevor and walked back to class and rushed to monitors.
Although we were sweating it was still fun and Trevor was cool to….

Star Reading Test
Star Reading Test
Mrs Golder instructed us to START our test. It was easy. I kept on going but then it got more complicated and difficult later on.
All my nerves were getting to me. I used what I learnt from Cloze Reading to help with my test. The palm of my hands were getting sweaty so I kept swapping the positions that I held my pencil in. I got distracted multiple times by Mrs Golder’s voice
I finished the last question and Mrs Golder said “stop”. That was the end of the test, the test was finally over and I was so happy that I had finished.

Cross Country Race
On Wednesday the 16th we started our Cross Country race. Miss Ginders had called Room 12 up to the starting line. Before we started Miss Ginders said, "When you start you have to do four laps. Then you have to come up to the field and pass the finish line."
Miss Ginders said, "Go." Then me and Fotu started sprinting until we got around the corner. I ran all the way but I jogged as well and I came 1st for the boys. All the children and adults were cheering for us. After all the running we all went to our classes. Year 7 did three laps and the other classes did less. It was so exhausting after we finished running.

Cross Country Certificate
When the teacher said "Chance up for 1st place," I was so happy that I came first in the school cross-country boys' race. I was really exhausted after we finished, my legs were so tired and I felt like I was going to faint.

Spooky Presented By Chance & Magdalen
In a galaxy far far away there was a big beautiful house in the woods. It was a misty and dark night where thunder, lightning, gloom and doom were all that you could hear.
You could also hear ghosts making creepy whispers in the night, and there was a witch who was making spooky laughter in the darkened room.
There were 2 little kids named Chance and Magdalen who were frightened of the sounds coming from the haunted house. So they shut their eyes and held on tight.
They opened the door and saw some crumbling steps and creaking doors. In side they saw screeching witches and snarling cats.
They looked to their right and saw ghost coming out of the floor and hissing snakes and flapping bats.
In front of them a skeleton with toothy grin appeared and started chasing them. Then they ran as fast as they could but he was gaining fast.
While they were running Count Dracula poked out of his coffin and scared them. They ran out the door. PHEW, safe at last.
They did not queue up for another look, instead they disappeared into the air.

Day as a Gallipoli Soldier
A Day as a Gallipoli Soldier.
From your nephew Chance
Dear Auntie Dickinson
I had been in a battle for two weeks and there was no food except Anzac biscuits. It was very tragic, heaps of people were dying. Some of our people were dying and we were just shooting till I had killed their captain.
At last we had killed all of them and I was so proud. Hopefully I will see you soon.
From your nephew Chance
