Chef Killed By Snake

Mr Peng was catching the snake to make Chinese soup but he got killed. They tried to get a anti venom for him so he can stay alive but it was too late.

I think Mr Peng should not have gone near the spitting Cobra even if it was dead.

Hundreds Of Rhinos Moved

Just over 500 rhinos were moved from Kruger National Park in South Africa in an attempt to keep them safe. At this stage it looks like the animals are going to be relocated to Botswana and Zambia. It is hoped that by moving the animals to countries like Botswana- with huge areas of wildness that are really difficult to get in, they will be safer.

However moving rhinos is not an easy job. Rhinos are targeted by poachers because their horn is very valuable.

Australia

The Australian government has  approved  a massive underground coal mine on The Great Barrier Reef! It would be able to provide electricity up to 100 million people.The Great Barrier Reef is one of the worlds famous wonders of nature.People are also concerned about plans that would allow the mining company to dredge material from the seabed.

It seems they could ruin the reef if they are not careful.

Tiger in a ladys bathroom

A lady in Kansas had found a tiger in her toilet.A big cat had escaped after it finished performing in the ring at the Isis Shrine Circus. When she had got home she went to her toilet and she was 2 feet away from the tiger!

Someone had to come with a tranquillizer to knock the tiger out and they put it to sleep.After they had put the tiger to sleep they took it back to the zoo.

Imagine having a tiger in your bathroom?

Hide and Stuck

There was a 11 year old girl that got stuck in a washing machine. She thought that it was a good hiding place. She was playing hide and seek. She was in there for a couple of hours. Her mum had called 911 and got the fire department to try and get her out of the washing machine. Her mum had tried to help and get her out but she was stuck.

They had to break the front of the washing machine so they could get her out. When she got out she had bruises on her.

I think that the washing machine is not a good hiding place.
